LEGEND OF THE SAND DOLLAR

When you got to the beach, one of the fun things is looking for great shells. You might even want to start a collection. This year we were lucky and found lots of sand dollars. There is a neat legend about the sand dollar. When you look at it, on the bottom is the outline of the Christmas Flower, the poinsettia, and on the top you will find the outline of the Easter flower, the Easter Lily. In the center of the Easter Lily, you will find the outline of a small star---the Christmas star. Break open the shell and inside you will find five small "doves", representing "Peace and Good Will to Men"

GOOD IDEAS:

This is a fun recipe which will remind you of the ocean:

Recipe For "Aquariums" - You will need: 1 box blue jello and one package gummy fish

Mix blue JELLOŠ according to package directions. Let it sit in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Then take it out, and using a kabob stick or spoon handle, push gummy fish in. Return to refrigerator to set. Enjoy!!
